My father’s journey began from New York City when he went off to University of Southern California to learn cinematography.  Those skills, novel at the time, led to his assignment to a film crew recording the effects of the atomic bombings. 

Now, Atomic Cover-up, the documentary by Greg Mitchell featuring the actual footage from my father’s film crew, will be opening tonite in person at 8:30 at the Big Apple Film Festival in New York City.  Online showing available starting tomorrow.
