Earlier this year, Greg Mitchell (who wrote the foreword to my book) released a terrific documentary using my dad’s footage (and some of his words). The film delves into the US Government’s suppression of the color footage shot by my dad’s crew (and of earlier b/w footage by Japanese photogs) recording the real effects of the atomic bombings. The documentary is going to be available for viewing (for free) from 5/20-5/30 at the Uranium Int’l Film Festival here.
